It is important to get "patent pending" protection
for your invention at the earliest possible time to lock in
your ownership of the invention. To get your initial
patent protection at the lowest possible price, we can
initially protect your invention with a provisional patent
application.
A provisional patent application
will protect
the invention for up to one year. Provisional patents
are particularly useful when:
(1) the commercial success of the invention is
uncertain;
(2) you are still developing the invention, and may
still make substantial changes to the invention; or
(3) when you budget does not allow for filing a utility
patent.
