Mr. Karich received a B.S. from the University of
California San Diego, and, a J.D. from the Boston
University School of Law. Mr. Karich has practiced
exclusively in the fields of intellectual property,
specializing in patent and trademark registration
and licensing. Mr. Karich’s experience includes
positions with the intellectual property firm
of Lyon & Lyon (Los Angeles branch),
the International Trade Commission (patent courts),
and Gauntlett & Associates (Irvine). In 1996, Mr.
Karich opened his own firm to assist early stage
ventures in protecting and licensing their patent
and trademark assets.
Mr. Karich has served as an Associate Professor
at Wesleyan University School of Law, where he
taught patent law, and as legal counsel and vice
president to Inventor’s Forum, a non-profit
organization dedicated to assisting early stage
start-ups with protecting their patent assets. Mr.
Karich is a member of the Orange County Patent Law
Association, the Patent Section of the California
Bar Association,and was a co-founder of the IP
section of the Tarrant County Bar Association. Mr.
Karich is currently admitted for legal practice
before both state and federal courts, as well as
before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
